Bob Danforth
Bob Danforth joined Stellar Services in January of 2008. As COO of Stellar Services, Mr. Danforth brings a wide range of leadership and management experience to Stellar Services. He has experience in both the federal and commercial sector.
As a member of our armed services, Mr. Danforth was part of both combat and acquisition community assignments. He served as a combat infantryman in Vietnam, with Special Operations Units in Special Forces Thailand, and the 2nd Infantry Division in Korea. The second phase of his military career included many DoD management and staff positions in the acquisition management community. He has experience in procurement, serving at the Tank Automotive Command and the Defense Contract Administration Service, and project management both at TACOM and at the Research, Development & Engineering Center at Picatinny Arsenal.
Mr. Danforth's second career was in the commercial sector. He served as VP/GM at Robbins-Gioia, he was engaged in service delivery in diverse projects including; environmental restoration with AFCEE, IT projects at DLA and with GTE, EVM at Picatinny Arsenal, and LITS in the UK for the RAF. Mr. Danforth had responsibility for the defense sector business managing project management engagements from the UK to continental USA to Hawaii.
Mr. Danforth has a MA from Webster University, with a concentration in Acquisition Management, and a BS in Business Administration from North Georgia College.
